Hi everyone!!!

Try again. Looking for Odyssey Pig. The older models.
Prefer wood, but some special plastic works as well.
If you find some, please send me a picture to my email
instead of in the topic. I have Paypal and have never had
any problems

Best regards, Niklas

Never seen or heard of them made of wood ? I think Bob Mesikomer was like the frist to use them and his were plastic.

I have a brand new jointed flaming pig. How can I tell if it is wood or plastic?

Removing the hooks and using mine years ago for fish house shims & casting plugs caused a lot of the paint to fall off. I was then able to determine whether they were wood or plastic.

Most were wood if I recall correctly but darned if I can find them now.

Most of them were used for fire wood. Probably the best choice. They also make great test lures for trying out new rods in the yard. Fish with one? Why?

You don't use wood for heat? Lot of BTUs in a pig.

The wooden Pigs were only made in 900 ex.
After that they went to plastic. I have 2 of the very
first that were made and I bought them from Bob himself.
The jointed Flaming Pig were never made out of wood.

But if you're interested in selling any wood Pig, please let
me know by email

Best regards, Niklas

I have a black with silver prismatic pattern that I have not used that I would be open to sell for the right price. It appears to be wood. Kevin

Ace baits makes the original pig and it is wood. I don't know how much difference there is between the ace and odysee wood pig but you might want to give them a try.
