I am going to switch from lakemaster chips to Navionics. Will the way points i have saved stay on my units, or are they stored on the chip that is in the unit? I have a HDS 7 gen 1, and a 522c. Thanks for the help

Download them on a chip! I have the older 112 and update a chip every year in case I lose my info.
I think they are stored in the unit but it's good practice as I lost all one of icons type one time.
