I am looking for a bucktail that makes noise in the water. I have buzz baits and the Blue Fox Vibrex. Is there any others that are successful?

I like the Ghost Tail. I can hear them, and feel them in the water, especially during an 8.

ALL bucktails make a ton of noise. The loudest sport an Indiana blade, with Colorado blades being a close second. The Fluted blade and Willowleaf are the least, but still are fairly aggressive.

A few years ago, I picked up some buckshot rattles made by Northland and slid one up on the shank with a dab of super glue. Worked great, but really don't know if the fish cared. I never tracked fish caught with or without.More of a mental thing in really dark or "thick" water. Steve

Frogger, don't you make enough noise for the lure! Stick with the Vibrix. That one makes a ton of noise, and it is one of the In-Fisherman favorites (#6 Vibrix - both Al and Jim love em!). I plan on fishing this one more this year.

Moores sells the bell that is used on the vibrax. they don't sell the inner part but making them work is not that hard to do. You can make your own style with one.
