| looking for a prop bait "how to".
specifically how to drill a straight hole through the center of the lure body. A Lathe seems obvious but I do not currently own one so looking for an alternate method.
Thx!!! |

You can also make a simple centering jig of sorts by driving a 16 penny nail through a piece of scrap wood just far enough that the point sticks through about a 1/16" or so. Then clamp that board to the drill press table so the nail point is centered under the bit. |

Do you use a mandrel to hold the wood blank on the lathe after drilling the center hole? |
