I'd like to get some information on the difference between the older Wiley Muskie King Jr's and the current Headshaker models?

I've got several older baits that say "Musky King Jr" on them while the newer baits that are Headshakers just say "Wiley Lure" on the bottom.

The Headshakers are a totally different lure and look nothing like the king jrs....The king Jrs. are very similar to their larger Brothers the Wiley Kings and Kawalskis..... The kings are made with a very long head section on the lure and then connected to a smaller thinner tail section........ The Head Shaker on the other hand Has a very Short wide head section and a longer tail section. When retrieving the head section just snaps left to right very fast and the tail section seems to just follow ...The King Jrs. have an action like a snake getting away from you with both the head and tail section moving.....hope that helps somewhat................Mike Sr

The labels on Wiley's have changed several times over the years...Once they were all hand cut out...(If you have one of those, its of the earliest models) They were also labeled with the model as lure as well...Now days, they all contain the same oval sticker on the belly which says "Wiley Lure"...

Currently, you have 7 models being made in various straight and jointed versions

- 5 1/2" - killer
- 5" - Baby Fatbody
- 6" - King Jr.
- 7" - Fat Body DD
- 7 1/2" - Headshaker
- 8" - King
- 10" - Kawalski (which I'm not sure is still being produced)

Discontinued Stuff:

- 3" - Metal lip Chubby
- 6" and 8" Jerkbaits
- Poes type top water
- DD metal lip baits
