| I know it may sound dumb but I just got a tranx and I've noticed that after a few uses the handle turns brown. Has anyone ever found out anything that can keep it looking new? |

Location: Pewaukee | When I had mine I used Goop hand cleaner. I do not know why they chose to make them white out of all colors? |

| Howdy,
On the Tranx you can remove the handle knob by unscrewing the two screws that hold the silver end cap in place. There are bearings in the handle, however, so any soaking you do would require re-oiling or removing the bearings before soaking, etc. I think the problem with the septon is that it appears to be a bit porous on a microscopic level and seems to hold dirt. The dirtier the water (clay, algae, etc) the worse it gets. Kinda makes you wonder what your other handles really look like from a cleanliness standpoint.
Take care,
