Curious where folks went about getting either the rear casting platform and/or the front deck extensions on their 618 or 617vs?

I am also interested in your thoughts on having them versus without? It seems to get a little tight in the back of the 618vs and I am guessing the rear casting deck is invaluable once you have one.

Spend a day or weekend with a bunch of beer and do it yourself. If you arn't the handiest, surely some of your buddies are.

Best part about this is you can put into it what you want in terms of dry storage, stereo, lure storage.

I am building one for an Alumacraft this spring. Will hold/cover 2 batteries, 5 gal fuel tank, and have a lure/bait box built into 1 side.

Not to mention be a lot cheaper.

X3 on Modog. Looks like factory, and absolutely rock solid.

I have a lovely 08 618VS. Installed a Just Encase box in the front… Gullwing layout with two separate boxes. Simply amazing! Have a factory Ranger deck in the back. Couldn't be happier. Yes, it wasn't cheap… but I'm way ahead of a 2014 boat:)

I have a very gently used Justencase custom front deck box from my 618VS, that I just sold. It's the gull wing, with the box in a box feature, and it has stainless latches. I just bought a 619VS, but I kept the box cause it was multipurpose. If you'd be interested in it, maybe we could work something out.
