| What kind of winter projects is everyone wrapping up for fishing season? I have made a tackle box for my trolling baits and re done all of my instrument and switch panels for my lund. I am trying to upload pictures from my I phone.

Location: Sawyer County, WI | My winter project is getting back in top shape. I'm banking on the fact that losing fat and adding muscle will extend my days on the water. Being out on the water with a sore back and shoulders is no way to put more fish in the boat. |

| The frame(navy blue) is made out of wood. The sides are white lexan from menards and the dividers are clear lexan |

Location: NoDak | a plastic tote with rain gutter down spout (plastic) takes about 5 minutes with a chop saw to cut 10 footers down to 12 inches to stuff in the tote, no glue, no nothing, so if you dropped a small lure down by pulling out the one tun=be i can reach down and grab it, also the totes come with good lids, haha, cheep easy, light (almot too light for a fast boat), just looked for a more swuare tote and since i live 100 miles from a menards i had to use 20 10 foot sticks in my tote to imagine and guess the amount, haha was a good laght when i crashed it in the store, but the crew enjoyed my creativity
the milk crate holds 25 tubes thats why i shared the second pic

| I have made two of the milk crate bait boxes and filled my new big kahuna net with foam to get it to float. Also repaired on rod of mine where the cork butt broke off and I will be sealing the cork on all my other rods. Cleaned and getting carbontex drags in all my reels.
P.S. don't get the great stuff foam on your hands (learned the hard way). |

Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | I feel lucky having an indoor pool at the apartment that I live. My projects have been building baits and testing them. I have built quite a few this winter and have been testing a ton. Not to mention every year when opener comes 10s feel like death for a day or two. This way, I can get that 'death' feeling out of the way months prior to even being able to get on a boat. Plus it doesn't hurt to work on my technique and conditioning during my darn near daily pool runs.

my fishing buddy just built something like that out of aluminum as he has a metal shop and he used it as an extension off the carpeted area of his Tracker Targa...carpeted it and it made the rear casting platform bigger.
Samuwenn.....I tried your idea this weekend but when I bought the downspout they put it on my truck in a box and it was 2.5 inch square....plan to return all but one and get the 2.5 X 3 like you used for some lures are too big for the square stuff.

Got to agree with this one. J had a heart attack last year at 300 and lost over 50 pounds and felt awesome.....then winter came and now I have to start all over again but only from 285. Cody has the right idea, |

still ongoing seems never ending. I have enough wood for next winter then back to oil. The (rhymes with bell ) with the expense.

I've had both of mine done now. After three months you'll sort of be ready for fishing again but your first trip out won't be the most pleasant. For me it was more like six months to really be able to get out again and a year to be 100% done with it but maybe you'll get by faster than me. Stay with your re-hab. |
