Are there any smaller metal lipped crankbaits on the market? I am interested in something in the 4"-6" range that would handle constant contact with the bottom while trolling...I keep breaking the plastic lips on my baits:(

Thanks!

I have three Cisco Kid's which I would part with.

$30 STYD.

What thickness lips are you breaking? Another option is baits with thicker lips, like 3/16" thick. Most baits in that size are using 1/16" or 1/8" thick lips.

Thanks for the suggestions...

I'm breaking the tip off the lip off my Krushers it seems to be about 1/16th"thick. My Baker baits have a thicker lip at about 1/8th and are faring a bit better, but I thought it would be great if someone was making a bait in a small "shad" style that had a thick metal lip like on a Hosebait or Headlock.

The problem with small baits and metal lips is the extra weight from the lip, you can make them work but it has limitations. I use 3/16" lips on all my crankbaits but I do not have one in that type of bait. Trolling is hard baits when when you are tapping bottom.

Stainless lip and a 4-inch body. Made with resin and foam. Just starting to go from prototyping to a small inventory.

Not a metal lip, but check out Custom X Lures they have a 6.5" Fury model that has a 3/16" lexan lip.
