| What baits will you use for a cooler than normal spring?I Like gliders that "hang" and shallow dawgs worked slow. |

Small Hellcats with cork (shallow version) is a good one to try.

Location: Minneapolis, MN | I was thinking I might try out a rattle trap on opener here in MN but I don't know if I need to upgrade anything on the bait and if I do it it will still work right. I'm talking about the 1 oz Rattle Trap Magnum. Anyone have thoughts? |

Location: Poynette WI. | I havent used a rattle trap in years, until last summer when fishing the manitowash waters and one of the guys fishing with us up there had a bunch of them and while we were all throwing everything in our tackle box just to get a few fish up to the boat, he was over on a neighboring lake having a record day on rattle traps, once we met back up at the cabin and he let us all in on the ol rattle trap bite, we all started digging in our tackle box to see if we could find one, I actually had one to my surprise and next thing you know i had a fish in the boat. They cover a lot of water fast and loud, I will be using this more often this year. |
