Location: Grand Rapids, MI | I'm probably biased in my opinion but it's awesome. My only regret is that Mike is offering them to the public already, I wish that I could have kept them as my own for another season. This is a specialty bait for sure, just like the deeper version. In a nutshell, I wanted a BIG bait that would run very shallow and have been pleading my case for years. The first one in the water was perfect. Wide wobble, with the occasional kick, as you can see in the video, . If you have fish that love big baits that spend much time in 12' or less this lure is made for those fish. Haven't cracked a giant on one yet but it's only a matter of time.

Posts: 661 Location: Sussex, NJ | Thanks Will, how hard does the pull compared to other cranks that size? And have you ever tried casting it and twitching it?

Location: Grand Rapids, MI | It pulls hard for sure, there's really nothing I can equate it to since there's really nothing like it. The 9" SS shad would be the only thing similar but it's not close, this pulls twice as hard. The buoyancy of the body is so great that I haven't tried casting it but it would be a chore to get it more than 1' down if trying to twitch/rip it because of the buoyancy.

Posts: 661 Location: Sussex, NJ | I believe at this point you and me will have to buy them from Mike himself considering that no one on this board is giving one up...

Posts: 1106 Location: Muskegon Michigan | https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fishall-Lures/567966706576061 I have some video on Facebook. I have lots of orders for Shallow Threats right now. Im making bodies every day. The 8 inch Stubby was another home run for us last year. You can see the wander on the video on Facebook. Im still very behind on making videos but my wife is picking it up fast. It is best to call me direct or email me for orders at 231-821-9020 or [email protected] Will was after me for several years to build the Shallow Threat. I built him a prototype last year and it ran so Good we went with the first edition. Between the two I have wood for about 40 of each right now. Mike

Posts: 1106 Location: Muskegon Michigan | The Stubby is a shorter version of the Slasher. Just go to my website and follow the pages to lures then click on Slashers. The stubbies are on the left. What we did was shorten the nose and tail making it stubby. The flatter nose really helps this bait get to wandering from 3.5 to 5.5 mph. Once they hit 4 they start walking all over the place.
