Location: Minnesota		what do you want to do .I like my TE'S over the 400D. the 400D is ok but its no TE. I have my 400 D for one bait . to switch the breaks is a pain so if you want to use different weight baits its a pain,the TE is much easyer to switch the weights .I have 10 different set up for my casting so its not a big deal for me to grab a different set up .

so you recommend the TE over the D model ??
or should I just get another Tranx?

Looking for a reel to use with the slingblade and 1 to 6 oz baits

I have a 400 TE on my Sling Blade and I think its a perfect balance. Curado would feel too small but that is perfect on my jerkbait rod and the Tranx is perfect on my Big Nasty but I think it would feel too big on the Sling Blade.

Location: Minnesota		I have 3 Tranx 1 HG and 2 PG most guys don't like the reel because there to big I like them . if you like your Tranx get another one .

Location: Waite Park, MN		I personally use a Curado 300 on my Slingblade and like it. I do have a Tranx that I've put on it, but I believe it will be a better match for my [new] Big Nasty or Predator rod.

2x. Just got Curado 300Ej and Sling Blade for smaller blades and top waters. I can even see using it for pull baits for the line pick up.
