| Tony, if you are out there, let us know...I gotta question for ye! Thanks... ***Can you tell the fine folks at the Bottom to stock up on the essential breakfast stuff, and is the Pig Out(?) still open on Rt 801? Thanks.... Edited by Sponge 2/26/2003 6:30 PM | |||

Posts: 172 | I understand the pig out will be open, at least till lunch. Jerry at the Black Bull (bottoms)will be ready for us with some great breakfast. Currently the lake is higher than it has been in ten years and the Ohio is over flood stage so letting water out of the CAVE will not happen till the Ohio drops. Should be able to have it at least lower than last year. Baring any weird weather, we've had our share. Looking forward to seeing everyone again and making some new friends. I'm off to Green Bay today and then The Minnesota Muskie Show, last 2 shows for me, Scott Salchli and Jason Ritchie will have our booth at Pittsburg. We have canceled 8 guide trips already but hopefully when I return we can fish. See you guys in a month.

| Thanks Tony, have fun and believe that the water WILL be down...I will stand by that belief...until I fall overboard and have to be cut loose from a volleyball net located 174 meters from the original shoreline...;) | |||

Posts: 4520 Location: Chippewa Falls Wisconsin | Last year we had High water.....but also remember we had a severe cold front with 17 degree temps in the morning coupled with 25mph winds. The week before it was 50 degrees, same high water and Tony's fellow guide Scott got a 51" along with some other fish. I dont care about the high water.....as long as we have stable warmer weather. Its a full month away........anything can happen!

| I detect a subtle wave of anxiety in your cyber voice Jason...barely perceivable in your comment "we still have a month to go", but there nonetheless...fear not, young mover of household goods...all things will gel for the appointed time...everyone will show...the puzzle will piece itself...a good time will be had by all...which reminds me, brother may come also, I'll check soon....RELAXXXXXXXxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx......;) | |||

Location: Athens, Ohio | Jason, it was cold enough to freeze a bull's dookie! We still have a foot of snow on the ground at home. Hope Nature is getting it out of her system now. m
