Curious if this is an issue. It would really only be trolling for muskie, so the speeds would not need to slow. Curious on motor issues if any. thanks, BR

There shouldn't be any issues other than putting a bunch of hours on it. If it were mine, I troll with it without thinking twice.

I would recommend getting a smart craft gauge with it. You can then monitor the motor temp, along with lots of other info. If you do lots of trolling and motor is running cold (ex:thermostat hung up due to weeds), motor will have issues fouling plugs.

Thanks, it is an 08 with 35 hours on the motor, but no gauges. Probably will not add them at this point. Thanks for the help!

I've put in a lot of hours trolling with an '05 75HP Opti. Trolls really well and I couldn't be happier overall with the motor. It's been flawless. (Knock on wood).
