Looking for some feedback on anyone who's used them. Am I better off just buying a 6" or do these work a lot better in spring or certain conditions. Thanks

The 6" softails have worked just fine for me in the spring.

Try some mulisha !! They are awsome bait !! Totally different action then a phantom but look like ... both are good to have

The bass, pike & even walleye LOVE the little 4" softail...so easy to work...need to keep some extra tails handy....color combinations are ENDLESS

The 4in phantom is probably the best multi species lure ever made!! My personal favorite.. However I have only had 2 muskies ever take a look at them. Maybe cuz I throw the six incher or bigger when I am fishing for them. Still, gotta love the phantom!!

I know a few guys who do really well throwing them and not just in the spring.

Love the crazy action on them but so far they are a gator magnet.

i always thought of trying them for big walleyes in the shallows in may and early june. that would be a riot!

I found it too small for musky, probabaly had the wrong leader setup. Would run better on a heavier bass outfit.

No leader works good on these baits.0723

personally I like the baby squirko much better in that size range of lure and the baby squirko is a big fish magnet...the 4" phantom is hard to really get to work with musky leaders/rods imo...finicky!

7`6 medium heavy rod works great with four inch phantoms.I like the phantom better than the small squirko. Both are good baits, don`t use a leader with either bait.0723
