Here's what I have for reels use for Cats and some Musky I want to try this yr. Which would you recommend (I'm not buying a Tranx) as best 1 or 2 for double 8's or 10's?
-Saltist 20 non-levelwind. I think this would pull 'em fine, but doesn't cast well
-St. Croix 300A
-Shimano 400B
-Shimano 300EJ
-Abu Record 60
-Abu Revo InShore
Thanks for your thoughts!

cant beat the 300ej for double 8 blades. I'd probably use the 400b for 10's.

I second the EJ.....for 10s youll have forearms like popeye if you plan on burning them. If not burning then you'll be fine.
