| Yeah, I like the morning shot as well.
I remember that day clearly.
I dragged my little sister out of bed at 5am to go chase musky. It was a gorgeous morning in all aspects. Perfect temperature, lake surface glasslike, eagles and loons all around. I was throwing my favorite bucktail and she had a top raider. Her patience was admirable, but starting to wear thin after a few hours. We came up a patch of weeds, lily pads near the shore, then cabbage as it dropped to about 10 feet. I told her to keep casting, which she did begrudgingly. That's when I saw a nice healthy fish coming in hot behind my bucktail. I alerted her and it was in perfect view. The fish followed round the 8 and kissed the skirt before disappearing in a flash. Though no fish on the line or in the boat, we did share a smile. Good times.
