Moccasin point is a great place. They have everything your looking for.Its centrally located on the lake (eastern - western ),great ramp, good docking with musky under them(50+in),a store with restaurant and bar and trails that have raspberries on them in season. Any other questions pm me.

Get a few of Kyle`s baits while your at it. Great for trolling over weeds.

I'm pretty sure Moccasin Point has been shut down for about 3 yrs. now, (except the ramp)....The DNR bought this land.
Fortune Bay Casino is a really nice place, as is Hoo Doo Point campground,...McKinley Park Campground is another option, but these are all on the East End.

The West End has Wakem Up Campground and a few resorts on that side of the lake have a few RV sites....Google Lake Vermilion Resorts for more Info.

That place got a little toasty just like the post office lol. Cook seems to be having more fires than most campgrounds lately lol

You could check Trancheffs cabins its near Moc. Point , I have a seasonal site there and I know that Pat the owner might have a site that he would rent out.
You can E Mail me if you want and I could answer any questions you may have.
