Moccasin point is a great place. They have everything your looking for.Its centrally located on the lake (eastern - western ),great ramp, good docking with musky under them(50+in),a store with restaurant and bar and trails that have raspberries on them in season. Any other questions pm me.

Any other questions pm me. I'm pretty sure Moccasin Point has been shut down for about 3 yrs. now, (except the ramp)....The DNR bought this land. Fortune Bay Casino is a really nice place, as is Hoo Doo Point campground,...McKinley Park Campground is another option, but these are all on the East End. The West End has Wakem Up Campground and a few resorts on that side of the lake have a few RV sites....Google Lake Vermilion Resorts for more Info.

Posts: 181 | That place got a little toasty just like the post office lol. Cook seems to be having more fires than most campgrounds lately lol

Posts: 97 Location: Chaska MN. | You could check Trancheffs cabins its near Moc. Point , I have a seasonal site there and I know that Pat the owner might have a site that he would rent out. You can E Mail me if you want and I could answer any questions you may have.
