I've been there a few times, and have a few posts out here about it. PM me if you have questions.

Clark's is great! Owners are very nice people and you will be very happy with the camp. We have fished it several times and stayed at Clark's for each trip. However, IMO, the lake gets too much pressure these days. Best thing to do as previously suggested is to look at previous threads on this and/or google to find recent shows that have been filmed there. This lake went from top of the list to no longer desirable for our group due to the pressure. There are huge fish there though and I think you will enjoy the lodge and the lake very much.

Went two seasons ago. Wasn't overly impressed with the lake. I'd go elsewhere.

I've never done great on Cedar, but I keep going back. Been going for several years.

Last summer there were lots of follows, few takers. I feel weather had a lot to do with it. Those fishing for walleye seemed to do well.

We fished it 2 years ago, one week before PP (last week of July). A lot will depend on the weather, it was blistering hot then (90's). If there's a very late spring this year it should be pretty good throughout the lake. We found water temps to high for muskies and a significant algae bloom in the eastern basin, so we fished the western basin from Times Square down to Clarks. We were at Jerry & Ellies (it has new owners now). We had a great trip..... we will be back. Its like any muskie water, it can either spank you or reward you.... Obviously PP got spanked! LOL. If you're at Clarks, there's enough water and big fish in the western basin to keep you busy.

We will be across the road on Cliff Lake this year (July 27th-Aug 3rd), and will likely drop into Cedar for a day... Send me a PM & I'll give you a couple of big fish spots to try.

Have fun!
Al
