Location: With my son on the water | I am seriously considering pulling the trigger on a x-190. We fished three guys out of a single console last year one day and it was really nice. But when I look at these on the net everyone of them is a dual console. My concern with a dual console is the ability to store a large net (I am one of those guys that has my net handle open ALL the time, just in case) and also the console taking away some nice space on the port side. (It is really nice to be able to move from front to back with out obstructions.
What are your guys opinion?

Location: Hopefully on the water | The dual console with 3 guys is not a problem at all with it. I leave my net open when fishing also and all fish off the same side of the boat. With the rear deck extension going from the back to the front of the boat is very easy. Great boat that fishes extremly nice. |

Location: Lake St. Clair | I have a X-190 single console, and would never put another console in it. I love it!! plenty of space with no obstacles. I have never owned a dual console but have fished out of many of them. I prefer the single console by far. Plus the X-190 is an awesome ride. Great in big water as I fish primarily LSC in all sorts of conditions. SINGLE CONSOLE BY FAR!! |

| Get the dual console. Better for your passengers. If you must have a single, simply remove it, and put it back on when you want it, or time to sell it.
My last Tuffy's were dual consoles, and they never were a space issue, even when fishing 3 people. The X-190 is much lower than the 1890, so should be even less an issue. |

Location: With my son on the water | I didn't know the passenger console on a x-190 was removable which is nice to know. I would think that would be a good selling point but it has never been mentioned to me and the web page doesn't highlight that.

| The console is bolted in, with stainless bolts and nuts in the front and side. This is not something you'd want to be taking out and putting back in often. But it can be removed, for sure. I'd try it with and without, and then decide if you absolutely have to go single console. I think you'll find it doesn't really get in the way. I think resale will be better with the dual console. I also think the rear deck extension will be a plus for muskies.
As for the net, I believe my Frabill Power Catch with handle extended would lay flat without the rear deck extension. Not sure with the extension. But I never have my handle extended, even in my 1890, while casting. It doesn't take much time to pull the handle out, so it was never an issue for me, even landing a fish while alone. |

Location: Minnesota | Single is nice, after my Dad passed away I started taking my mother fishing. I had a single console bought a new boat in 2012 Dual console Skeeter MX 1825 she likes the dual console much better. when going from spot to spot she has something to hide behind

Location: Weyauwega Wi. | I have the dual console X-190 with the rear deck extension. a folding net fits right behind the seats. Ask my wife if she likes the 2nd console. If you have a fishing partner get the dual. If you fish alone. No big deal. |

As far as the side console being able to be removed I will have to look at mine tonight but do not think this is a option?? I thought it was formed into the mold when built on the sides. The front of the console comes down right at the back of the front deck. |
