Posts: 30 | My group is looking at a trip into Canada in 2015 and we are in the process of finding a camp. My question is have any of you guys that do boat in camps ever had any problems with your tow rig / trailer being messed with while you are at the lodge, and do you have any suggestions about deterrents to the above happening?

Posts: 3511 Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Hiya, In my close to 10 years of going to boat-in lodges, I have never had my rig messed with as I have put in at an area that has security cameras. It is worth paying a reasonable fee for that security, but I also don't keep anything in the vehicle of great value either while I am away from the truck. Steve

If you don't want to say on line where your staying that Ok with me I under stand that. You can Pm me and I might be able to give you with some info on this as we have been fishing LOW's and other boat in's since the early 60's and have experienced just about every thing there is. Posts: 52 | As an Owner of a boat in camp, our customers park their vehicles at a private marina, where the owners reside on the second story overlooking the whole yard. We are only entering our third year as lodge owners, however I don't recall any incidents in my time there and in speaking to others has never been an issue. Not sure how others are set up though. Todd I parked at the marina in Morson several years while staying at Grassy Narrows. Never had any troubles nor did I ever hear Betty or Jerry mentioning other customers having issues at the Marina. I currently launch out of Nestor and haven't had any issues over there either (knock on wood!).

Posts: 925 | I've been boating into various lodges on LOTW for I think 14 years now. Over the years I have parked at the NW Angle, Morson, Nestor Falls, Sioux Narrows, and Kenora and have never once had an issue with the truck and trailer in the parking lot. Midge
