Location: Warroad, Mn | Is anyone running the new FX series Larson fishing boats? They look pretty nice from what I can tell on their web site, but not many reports on how they actually fish!
The FX 2020 looks like it may work on the LOTWs? Anyone have any experience with them?

| IDK how to contact him, but I know Dan Eigen sp? aka WalleyeDan uses a Larson boat. Looks like a sweet machine to me. |

| Hey Doug,
I believe there was a guide out Wigwam that ran one. Or try calling Lake of the Woods marine and am sure they know who ran it on the south end.

| I gave them a pretty good look at the boat show last year. They looked really cheaply built for a number of reasons. The price is attractive but I can't see them holding up over time very well. Storage was the old school "lots of little bins" style with patchwork deck carpet and the deck lids were just flat plastic like material with hinges and a latch screwed on...no rigidity at all. The consoles were essentially a box bolted to the deck with a hole cut in the front for your legs trimmed in rubber molding circa 1975. I would say look hard at the construction, how the deck holes are cut etc and see what I mean.
