| The guy at the place I bought the lumber from figured it was 300-400 years old. I also got some boards from a 150 year old silver mine. The grain is so tight that you can barely make it out. There is no figuring on that wood, so I'll be painting it. But this wood still amazes me. To think that God planted this seed maybe a half century ago so I could cut it up and make lures out of it. These just have sealer on them, I can hardly wait to see them with Envirotex.
For some reason, the images showed up on the Buy/Sell forum but not on here. You can see them there until I get this figured out.
I give up, photos that loaded in one forum won't load here.

Location: South-Central VA | Very nice stuff. I have a piece of cherry that a buddy gave me that I'll be making into a small glider...at some point...when I have time. My inspiration for it came from your work like this. I'll post pics when I get it done.
