Hey Fellas

My GPS has been working about 10% of the time since the weather's been below 40 degrees. The unit itself is working fine (still getting sonar,DI, SI readings). It's just the GPS that isn't functioning 90% of the time. On days that we get a slight warmup it'll boot up, but outside of that it's worthless. The puck is mounted where it should be and I've spoken with guys over @ bass pro and nobody's been able to give me a solid answer on why I'm having these problems. I figured I'd send it in to Humminbird after I finish my season on Kinkaid but we've had unseasonably cool temps down here and I need to get it taken care of ASAP. Any help is much appreciated.

unless someone has a quick fix I would send it in when the seasons over so you get it back asap, don`t really need gps on kinkaid unless fishing when it`s dark.if your guiding I`m sure you know the lake by now,do you bring it inside, just thinking maybe you have a lot of moisture inside the unit

I appreciate the input! The moisture inside the unit would make sense (freeze/thaw). This is the first time I've had an issue with GPS in cold weather. Having the sonar/SI is the most important for finding bait this time of year but I do like to waypoint bait when trolling for followup casting (especially when guiding). Temps should come back up for us down here.
