| Has anyone ever fished Swan. Ive been there a couple of times and had very little luck. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

| I have never been on it but have heard good things. The plan was to go this summer but as of yet has not worked out. I know someone who fishes it and was gonna tag along. If I remember correctly, Suicks (something with orange) was what he had said he uses.
If you are in Portage you might want to try Silver Lake right off Hwy 51. Launch is off Silver Lake St. Have been there and seen muskies but no hookups there yet. It's not a real big lake. If nothing is going on it'll take you about an hour to hit the whole weededge and the slot on the other side of the bridge.
On a side note, I heard there was a 40+ fish taken out of one of the Portage lakes recently. Also someone arrowed a big one while carp fishing[:((] [:((] [:((] . DNR got that guy though.

| I get over there once or twice a year usually in the fall. Have seen some nice fish fishing the steep drops, The drop in front of the old boat landing has shown some nice fish. As yet have not have put one in the boat there yet but they are there.
