Has anyone heard of or tried putting cloves in a boat over winter to repel mice? I saw a neighbour doing that a few years ago but had never tried it.

I was thinking of putting some garlic in to repel vampires but am undecided about the cloves.

I use clothes dryer anti-static sheets to repel mice. I have no idea if they work or not, but I haven't had rodent problems. Good idea on the garlic for vampires!

Fabric softener sheets. Never had a problem since.

I use moth balls put into small containers throughout the boat. It will eat the carpet if u leave them on carpet alone.
