Location: Wisconsin | Heading to Hayward next week and was looking for some help. I have never fished this late in the season, actually mid October is the latest I had fished previously.I plan on getting suckers and I know that I will need to slow my presentation. Will I be best served just vertical jigging or will jerks and gliders, or??? still produce?
You guys are the best, I thank you for your sharing of knowledge

| Call ahead for suckers. There have been times this fall when none were to be had. |

Location: Wisconsin | I was worried about that. If you pay for them in advance will they order them, or is it a matter of they can't get them? |

Clammer,
You read to much..... It's the norm if you throw top water during cold weather.
I once caught one on top water at 39* |

I heard he only hits topwaters when it's below 40 degrees..

Location: Quebec, Canada | Trolling transition points can be a very effective way in fall to cover a lot of water and to catch a nice muskie going for baitfishes.
