| Hey everyone, Im gettina a water chopper and I was wondering If the 4/0 hoooks are a good size for the lure or should I get bigger hooks for it? also, in your opinion how well do these work and compare to a topraider?

Location: Perryville, MO | Nope...no other tips necessary. Lee's chopper rocks. Throw it at the same times and places you'd throw a topraider and just hang on tight. |

Location: Yahara River Chain | I don't think you need to upscale the hooks and depending on which model you are getting it might be too much weight (like on the mini-chopper).
The TR and Chopper don't compare. I like to run my chopper ultra slow many times (like after dark) and even at normal speed, its slower than I would run the TR. The sound is also different as the TR has a plop and the Chopper has more of a pop.
I do upgrade the hooks on my TR to 7/0 and that also changes the tone of the plop. |

| treble size is perfect like this,i prefer the chopper over the topraider because mine make a louder sound.i also prefer to encourage little co,no mass production. |
