I am going to be heading down to Kinkaid towards the end of the month and have never been down there before. Any tips on lodging, ramps, fishing tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hey:
There is a Super 8 motel in Murphysboro about 5 minutes from the main south launch ramp. It is on Rt 13 approx 20 miles after you get off I-57. here is the number 618-687-2244. It isnt extravagant but it is close and comfortable.

Thanks for the response. Can I run an extension cord there and charge my batteries?

Thanks again

Super Eight is ok, but if it is full or if you want to swim and have a hot tub during cold weather, try the AppleTree Inn. Good Fishing, Al
