| Anybody add weight to the new HI Suick's.
Is it necessary?
How?
I think I might need to slow the rise just a bit as we get later into the season.

| That's when I use weighted leaders that Stealth tackle makes.
On the 9" Hi's and wood Suicks I use 3/4oz
on 10" suicks I use a 1oz it gets them a lot deeper for fall and keeps them down.
I really like the plastic Suicks they are weighted nice and really move around. But when I need them to get deeper I tie on a weighted leader, Its faster and then you don't have to modify the bait at all and can use it for more situations
Good Luck,
Jeff Hanson

| If you need to slow the rise, just upsize the hooks. |

Location: Perryville, MO | I had some success late last Fall fishing a weighted 10" wood suick with a 1 oz stealth leader. I would be more than happy to grant the success with a weighted leader to my inexperience though, rather than a great insight. In other words, an experienced suick fan may be able to get the bait to do what I was doing without the additional weight. |
