Location: Williamstown, WV | What are some of your favorite cold water river musky fishing tactics? What baits do you guys like? Where are the muskies usually eating at during this time? Reason why I ask is because I'm looking to try musky fishing on the Ohio River. They are in there, but I don't know where to look. Help!!!

| The Ohio is 20 times bigger than any river I fish, but, they should be in similar places. Try suspending jerk baits and work them real slow. Get them down and then let them sit for long periods with just a twitch or two. Try deer hair with a little flashaboo on the back treble. It won't be long where you're at before #5 colorado blade bucktails can be slow retrieved with a twich every few cranks. They always like oxygen so try in long holes below rapids, riffles, and tailwaters. Have fun, open water, is just a dream these days. |

| Try slow trolling a daisy chain of Heatmax Hand Warmers through the deeper holes, or if bank fishing, perhaps drift a packet of Lipton tea on a 3/4 spinnerbait....;) |
