I'm looking to upgrade from my regular off shore boards and I've been looking at the church tackle tx44 , the tx22, and the walleye board..we often get some pretty good wind and the off shore board's just don't do well in the waves and I have had issues with the board diving when fighting fish in.

I really like the pin option on the back of the church boards, what I'm wondering is which size you prefer??? Is the tx44 overkill? i'm mostly running 5-9" deep divers - ernies, depth raiders etc

Any input is appreciated!!! Thanks in advance

I upgraded to the 44's with the Lock Jaw Release added on them this year and really like them. I use them for anything from Shallow Invaders to 10 inch Head Locks. Work great. I would not get any other board out there at this time...

Agreed, the 44's are great. Used them with Headlocks, Large Scuba Divers, and other big baits and haven't had an issue yet. I'm glad I went with these instead of the smaller 22's.
