For our trip to Sabaskong this week, we're wondering if trolling after dark is productive. We've only ever trolled in the daylight, but I'm thinking that it must still be productive to get them in the evening, too? Chime in and tell me how it is!

Not much of a night bite up there and a lot of hazards to take things from bad to worse, I'd stick to daylight.

made several passes after dark in an area with bait fish I knew very well one time a few years back. finally got a fish to eat.

I now troll only til its too dark to see what im doing.

i'm fish crazy, but they just haven't ever bitten that well once the sun is totally down to make it worth while. fish sun up to sun down and you will have your shot at the feeding windows.

long, cold, lonely night if you have trouble. nobody around to come to your aid this time of year.

Thanks for the reply, Justin. That's what I needed to know. Are you around this weekend, by the way?
