At the Chicago show there was a guy who made tails made with a leader material so it was flexible rather than the standard wire with a nice grub tail on the treble hook. The tail says "Leaders & Lures" in raised letters, but has no name listed. The one I am thinking of was a Dbl 8 with Colorado blades. Anybody got a name??

Sounds similar to these, but I don't see any with a grub option.

Edit: Yeah, that makes more sense...haha.

Wow! I never thought of that as the business name! Man, it was right there in front of me to see. Well thanks for setting me straight. I borrowed one from a friend and really liked how it ran and caught fish

Thanks!

I don't think his are a flexible wire, mine are, if that is what you were looking for. I have been working on a deal to get grubs as well for the trebles. Let me know and we can work something out to get those. Thanks!!! Chad

Yes he has flexible shafts. I own about 1/2 doz of them.

He also has molded on 7/0 treble grubs. They are not add ones.

I fished with a LSC charter captain by the name of Chuck Smith that makes something similar. He calls his Chucktails. We only used them for trolling and they were double 10's.

If I didn't make my own leader's, etc., I'd be using Leaders & Lures. I have had many discussions with Glenn about knot's, knot strength and crimping techniques, e.g., for both fluoro and titanium leaders, etc. with him at the fishing show's. He has probably the most scientific approach and methodology of any commercial manufacturer out there. Solid products!

Have fun!
Al

That's funny, Al. I been calling him Gene or Uncle BS for short.

NUT- You're right, guess there's to much data packed in this old main frame disk storage system. Should have dug out his card. I'm lucky I can fit a name to the face in the mirror each morning, sometimes scary as hell!

"I'll call you Betty, you can call me Al"
Have fun!
