Posts: 723 | It seems everyone was very itchy to set up a match this last weekend, let alone get out and fish, only a couple were successful in their attempts tho. Let me say this could've been a really close match Had Branden not lost/missed some. but as always, thats fishing. Team JJ took an early lead in his pool with a 37.375, 44, and a 49 against team Branden with his PB a nice 46.5, seems there was a rather larger storm-front coming in on Branden, looks scary! Items were a tip-up and a tube of caulk. Yes we had fun with the caulk thru-out the day! lol good job guys! Posts: 723 | Results for my match against Rick Weyenberg on July 5th, my daughter was hot and wanted to jump in to swim. as soon as she did, I had a follow from a 40" fish, it didn't stay to play, so I fired a cast back out and burned it in. About midway back in this beauty ate! Talk about chaos, this fish put on an aerial display, jumps, cartwheels, corkscrews, classic musky battle, the whole time my daughter was in the water swimming away from the boat now! Posts: 723 | Results from Sonnet vs. Eric Herzfeldt July 21st Sonnet once again pulls out a win with this beauty of a 38" tiger. nicely done! With August fast approaching, just a reminder to those with matches left to fish, you have till the end of August to get them in before we move on to the playoffs. Some pools have multiple wins making it a tight game, Other pools with no fish registered so far, it only takes 1 win to put you thru. Lets keep it rolling, good job everyone so far! Posts: 723 | resulst from the first matches in the playoffs: this last weekend we were able to have a club outing, so both matches were fished on the same body of water, as cool as it was, 2 teams didn't move on! First off Sonnet took Amy out with a 42.25" with the help of Craig. the other match that took place was between Dean and myself. Dean and his partner Dan put up a 39 , 41.75 , and a hefty 46.5 ! way to go guys! I think biting one of the stocked fish from Wednesday might have been bad karma since we didn't do much of anything all day! LOL Congrats to everyone that boated fish! only a couple matches left and we have a new MFC - 2013!
