Anybody moving fish on the Madison chain lately? Mainly Monona (and waubesa)? I'm gettin my butt kicked out there. Seeing a fair number of follows, but haven't been able to boat one in a long time out there. How's everyone else doin, and what are you throwing?

I havent been out much but its been very hit or miss for me as well over the past few weeks. The pattern seems to constantly change and might do so until a nice cool down or consistent cooler temps occur. These temperature swings from 50/60's to upper 70's isnt helping...

I have been putting plenty lil guys in the net the past few weeks, just cant seem to bust to 40'' mark. I am hoping the big girls will move in once it cools down a little more. that being said, Ive had to change my technique quite a bit from the last few years.

Thanks for your input guys! I don't want to ask for all your secrets mahnkal, but any advice on how deep you've been fishing? I can't even seem to put any little guys in the net. haha

Depends a lot on the day, I fish a zigzag pattern in 8-25 ft until I start moving fish.

Monona has been very tough very clear right now and not seeing many. Waubesa has a lot less visibility, and has been better for us getting fish. But most under 40". hopefully it gets better soon.
