I was on TI's site looking at the XXH telescopic rod & I noticed that the lure weight ratings have changed.

In the description it shows the following rating's:

MH (1-6oz lures), XH (up to 12oz lures) and the XXH (8-36oz lures).

Under the specifications it shows:

MH (1-4oz lures), XH (2-8oz lures) and the XXH (up to 16oz lures).

Which is correct? Did the ratings change with the newer rods?

I have a MH (1-6oz rating) & a XH (up to 12oz rating).

We changed nothing about the rod design, just the ratings. This came from the last year of testing and feedback from our pro staff. The new ratings are the suggested lure weight ranges that the rods load up on the best. EX: The MH rod can throw a pounder but the lure about touches the back of your head so of course a 16oz lure is not suggested for the MH rod. It loads up the best for lures from 1-4oz. Some of the rods still have the old lure ratings on them but we should have the new rod labels all updated in about 4-6 months.
