This week I have fall break for school and I am looking to get some fishing in Wednesday-Saturday. I was thinking either Mille Lacs, Miltona, or Bemidji. Just curious where you guys would go.

Thanks!

Pretty tough to pass up ML after it nearly produced 2 state records last fall.

The Bemidji area has been very good. I think if you are looking for action AND a chance a a big fish, I'd go there. If you are looking for that 1 fish of a lifetime, then it is still ML.

Good luck!

I certainly wouldn't go to Bemidji for "action". Miltona was doing really well up until a few days ago (which was the last reports I heard). I'm thinking it may have just flipped with all the wind last week, if not it's about to, and could start right in again.

It depends on the lake in the Bemidji Area, a few have had a lot of action lately.

I missed the "area" reference and was just referring to Bemidji. You may be right, I can't speak to other lakes in the vicinity.
