Posts: 32886 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | You may find your video deleted on any of the Video services because the music used is copyrighted. Need to use royalty free music. Just a heads up....search 'using copyrighted music in You Tube videos' for reference. Great video, just a heads up! That's why we didn't embed the video here. Good example to read: http://www.videomaker.com/article/14261-whats-legal-youtube-fair-us...

Posts: 78 | rarely do videos ever get deleted because of "copyright" on youtube.. i have over 40+ and have never had one deleted.. Sometimes the video can't be played in some foreign countries, but that is about it. If it would ever happen you can go through a process that claims you are not the owner of the copyright and won't profit etc etc, and they will let you post it. But like i said it rarely happens Edited by swanezy 9/6/2013 8:18 PM

Posts: 32886 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | http://www.videomaker.com/article/14261-whats-legal-youtube-fair-us... Is what it is. Like I said, nice video, but you really should not use copyrighted music, the music track is not yours to use.. it's copyrighted. The more popular your videos get, the larger the chance there will be issues. Look in to Audioswap and similar services to stay legal, contact the artist to get permission, or purchase the rights. There are a TON of up and coming bands who will give you permission to use tracks, use a search engine and look for 'royalty free music' or similar. As publishers we are probably a bit more sensitive to copyright law, and won't intentionally infringe on anyone's copyright any more than we would expect someone to abuse ours. Look at the bottom of this page. By the way, everything posted here is published by OFM. Therefore, we are responsible legally, and have been ordered to remove copyrighted material posted by one of our visitors. The offended party wasn't kidding, either.
