All I will say is be careful of the two piece ones. My brother inlaw has one and I've seen it come off midcast multiple times.

I've got one of these rods and I don't have to worry about it coming apart during the cast. I can't even get apart with channel lock pliers.

I do kind of like the rod though. Especially given the price. I got mine on sale for around $100.

you can get them from the same place on ebay for around $70 most of the time but i have seen them go much lower..
