| I have a few lakes I love to fish, but have really thick vegetation (usually milfoil). Just wondering what the best spinnerbait option would be for working through the thick vegetation without too many hang-ups. |

Location: Minnesota Metro | Agree with the grinder and slopmasters for weeds, but for milfoil I've never had any luck getting any lures through it unscathed...stuff is just nasty. |

| With the tandem Nutbuster being the spinnerbait on steroids that it is... she rips through weeds like non other I have used before. You get the casting distance and vibration of a chatterbait and the abilities of a beetle spin in one. |

| Short arm with a compact body has been the key for me in that situation. Bucher 850 Slopmaster or Llungen Nut Busters are great. Have also had good success fishing the edges of milfoil with Single Rad Dog. Replace the stock blade with an 8 Colorado. |

Location: MN | I wouldn't go with tandem blades. Single willow blade + Grinding technique, as Mr Pearson recommended, works the best in the slop, IMHO. |

| I use the one PSV makes, with a cone head and a willow blade and its awesome both in weeds, rocks, and trees.
But there are just some weeds out there, where you just can't get a bait trough without snagging up :/ |

Location: SE, WI. | Probably the best blade to use through cover is a willow blade. # 7 or if you want some thump, go to a # 8, willows will tangle less than colorado's, then my next choice would be an Indiana.  JD |

| Cowdusa hands down wins for most weedless spinner...that of coarse is a joke.
From my experience I havent seen a noticable difference in any one type of safety pin spinner brand over another, just as long as your compairing apples. A hook is a hook, a blade is a blade. If it has a single willow blade and 1 single pointed hook I havnet seen one brand be more weedless than another.
But everyone has their favorite, just like icecream not everyone likes chocolate. |

Location: South Portsmouth, KY | Rabid Squirrel spinnerbaits made by Monster lures have worked awesome for me in thick weeds such as milfoil and cabbage. The long arm make these baits come thru the weeds really well

Location: Denmark | Lighter ECT bullet spinnerbaits, are IMO better than the Pearsonns Grinder(casts better too). Pearsons Grinder is great, but it picks up weed more easily than the ECT's. I think this is due to the oversized blades, contrary the lighter and narrower blades on the ECT's.
If you have any special demands, regarding a costomized SUPER weedless spinnerbiats. I would not hesitate contacting PSV, i am sure he can help you out.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Violent Strike. Keith actually has a model designed to get through, across, and slide along the top of slop, pads, and stuff. Hooks up well with a longer hook reach, and runs the slop better than any I've used. |

| i like the hawg spin,just for 1 reason they use deer tails instead silicons.i use the tandem without the trailer.for me willow leaf is useless because it don't create enough vibration and swims too deeply compared to a coloraDO. |

Deer vs Silicone - apple and oranges. Completely different action. Exactly, willow leaf goes deeper and the most important part it allows you to stay deeper when needed. Not enough vibration ? I don't think so. It's just a different type of vibration. |
