I have been up to the area a few times but mostly in the spring/early summer. I am looking to try my luck the first weekends of both Sept (7th) and Oct (5th). I havent had much luck on my trips up that way other than lakes like Wildcat or numbers lakes. If anyone has broad suggestions like avoid these waters/colors or try this lake/colors/baits/techniques I would appreciate it.

Heres what I was thinking of doing, depending on weather and what not...

Sept - Hit weed edges and any midlake reefs first seeking active fish. If that fails test the open waters. If clear weather I will hit up darker waters, if cloudy/rainy I will test my luck on clearer, deeper lakes.

Oct - Work some deeper breaks and cisco forage lakes.

This year has been rough everywhere but my home waters and I am hoping these two trips can turn it around...

Thanks in advance!
