Location: Oconomowc, WI | I just picked up one of these rods for pounders and such, and I just want people to know its a great rod, especially at $150. It's pretty light and balance really good. I was throwing pounders for the better part of 8 hours today and I'm not too sore or tired. I definitely recommend TI if you're looking for a XXH rod and their customer service is unmatched! Location: Wakefield, MI | Thinking of picking one up in the next few weeks. My main rod right now is way too light for mag dogs and pounders, and is pretty light for any of my bigger stuff. I gotta borrow my dads pounder rod to throw pounders, which doesn't work too good in the fall if we both want to use them. |

| I have the TI mega, Big Dawg and the Big Nasty. Ti for all rubber Mag Dawgs, Pounders, Duessas and large Uboats. I've used the Big Dawg but it was a workout. I would not even think of using the big Nasty.

| TI XXH rod is a great rod. Chucks pounders real easy but I use mine more for Dawgs, Medussas and SuperDs. One of the best rods I have used and I used to be a hard core SC user. Good company to support too. Now I just need to know when those mag CamoDs coming out? |

Location: Wakefield, MI | Well, just ordered a 9' telescopic XXH. Can't wait to try it out, also grabbed a black perch Mag Shad while I was at it.
Now I just need to go to Rollie and Helen's and grab a new reel of some sort. |

Location: Oconomowc, WI | Well in two outings I've boated 3 ski's with the new rod. Worked great, and haven't missed on a hit yet. Here's the biggest 44" 21.21lbs.

Location: Wakefield, MI | It's here! Put on a shiny new 401 TE that I found at a local bait shop, loaded with line, and pulled the hooks off a pounder and sent it flying across the yard. Feels great, can't wait t try it on a fish! |

Location: Land of the Musky | I have used my XXH rods for lures down to 1oz and the main thing I have to make sure I do is, adjust the reel casting drag so the lure drops about 5"-6" per second. Then its good to go. Otherwise, birdsnest.... |

| I have 2 xxh 2 piece 9" rods and they are great and they fit in small places, shift from trolling to casting pounders on st clair is now a snap, always locked and loaded.> James I need a 2 piece rod blank to put my own spin on this worthy blank! |

| I have mh, xh and xxh. Even the mh has a bit of a problem with light lures because the tip end is a bit stiff and not quite fast enough. It will throw the baits but the release is a bit sooner in the cast. The xxh is a great rod and will throw 10's easily along with pounders. xh for about everything and mh up to 10's. Really think the mh needs abit faster tip for lighter stuff otherwise I love these things. Took me sometime to get used to the 18" handle , but now, I wouldnt want it any other way. The fulcrum effect from this handle makes casting heavy stuff easy. Well worth it to me. JMHO and waiting for the 10' xxh. |

Location: Wakefield, MI | Loving this rod. Throws pounders quite well, and launches depth raiders and top water lures a mile.
401TE was a good reel to put on this combo.
Unfortunately no fish today to test it out on. And the long handle was awkward the first few casts to maneuver around and get into position for a figure 8, once I got used to it I liked it. |

| just started using mine last year and it's a great rod, very versatile. double tens up to pounders are it's 'sweet spot' but as mentioned earlier it can handle a wide variety of baits. taken fish up to 45"s so far on it, and the amount of flex it has still gives excellent control of the fish. |
