Who's got the best pricing on boat & out drive insurance? I understand that there are regional carriers that may have some better pricing, and that you can probably get a better deal with home/auto/boat. I live in Louisville and would be willing to switch the whole package if I could find better coverages. Thanks for your help!

I have BoatUS for the rig and trailer. I've shopped it, and it's the best price I've received. I had some bad luck scraping my boat and trailer last year. I took it in to a boat shop that specializes in Rangers, they priced it out and sent the price to BoatUS. BoatUS called me to verify everything was cool, and they sent the check.
Not to mention, you get their monthly magazine, free towing (you never know), and I think even roadside assistance. It's great.

Don't overlook the contents of the boat when you write your policy. I have additional coverage to cover theft my Trolling motor, electronics and all tackle. That's at least $3000 on top of your boat, motor and trailer replacement cost.

Boat US has a good marine policy but doesn't like to cover boats that exceed 60mph. Nationwide has my bass boat with a 150hp for about $300/yr.
