| I am trying to come up with a different storage box for my bucktails for next year. I have a Lakewood Musky Medium box, which is great for larger baits. I also have a Plano 7915 Musky box with the clear view inserts, again great for all my medium to larger baits.
I really dont want to have more tackle box's in the boat, but the box's I have seem to big for all the smaller Bucktails and it's hard to see the blade color and style when they are hanging in the box.
How do you store your Bucktails? |

|
| why not just put them in the clear shallow plano boxes?

| I do like Mike just said, and drill holes in the top/bottom at even increments to allow water seepage and air circulation; just don't let them tumble into the drink! |

| Dave,
I'm going to look hard at the B&B Bait boxes this year for my bucktails. They have some great products for my eye stuff, and I think could be used for tails. |

| I use a plano 3730 box and put in inhibitor rust prevention chips, and they do work. |

| Schuler;
Can you hang the bucktails in the 3730, or do they lay flat? |

|
| We ordered the clear-vue system for the plano boxes and had the guy make a few deep cuts to hang bucktails so the hair and tails don't lay over and get smashed by the lid. Works great. He really liked that idea, he may be doing that to all of them now. |
