Posts: 134 | Looking for advice on a lake in Northern Wisconsin where my family (uncles, father, grandfather (80yrs old)) can stay in early June of next year. We would like to be on a lake or chain of lakes that can provide good walleye action and also some muskie fishing for me. I have a boat, but we would also like to be able to rent boats once we are up there. Thanks in advance for the help. Matt

Posts: 133 Location: BLOOMINGTON,IL | I would love to second the Chippewa Flowage because of the beauty and fishability of the lake. Treelands is a great choice, they have a nice marina with various boat styles and a great bar/restaurant. We have a place on the flowage, Chippewa Shores Resort. But there are a lot of great places that can help with your needs. Deerfoot Lodge is another good place on the water. Feel free to PM with any questions about the Chippewa Flowage - I would be glad to help. Eric

Posts: 1036 | Eagle River Chain should be an option. Tons of muskies and walleyes. Lots of water, though, so hire a guide on your first day to learn the system and then tear the Chain a new one!

Posts: 4343 Location: Smith Creek | http://boydsmasonlakeresort.com/ Good walleye and muskie fishing on a chain of (mostly) private lakes, pretty sure meals and boat rentals are included (Canada style). http://birchesresort.com/ Private lake loaded with muskies and good walleye fishing, about 10 minutes from the Turtle Flambeau (serious walleye fishing). They serve the best thin crust pizza in the Northwoods.

Posts: 665 Location: Twin Cities, MN | I also suggest looking at Treelands on the Chippewa Flowage. I have vacationed there for a number of years with my whole family ( 10 + ) and have always enjoyed it. You can rent boats, nice docks, it has a restaurant ( pizza is very good ), and it has muskie and walleye for you to chase. Lots of crappie also. Pal
