| Hello everyone,
Recently I brought a Top Raider In a Green and black color scheme. All of the people who fish on the lake that I will be fishing all say that a all black color scheme with a orange tail works the best and I was wondering what paints you would use to paint the lure these colors.

| if you have an air brush, createx works great,if not a plain ole spray can will do what you want to do,coat it with e-tex or devcon epoxy for your finish.good luck! |

| as for actually seeing one other than online,i have no idea how it is constructed.it looks to me that you should be able to tape it up to paint.maybe somebody with more knowledge of them will respond.lol! james. |

Location: Minnesota: where it's tough to be a sportsfan! | Unless you want to make a bigger project out of than needed for a bait that is going to hit the water, sand it a bit, tape off the area you want to stay black, paint the open area white, allow to dry, check your desired level of orange and either do a thin coat of chartreuse then orange on top or just go straight to the orange. I like to use a thin chartreuse coat really makes the orange pop. I also should say I have some topraider than do not have much paint left on them that are still catching fish. |

| Thank you both for the advice, Ill be getting an airbrush kit in a few months and ill use the chartreuse first and then paint it orange.
