Does anyone use popping style surface lures for muskies? Like a larger model of a Rebel Pop-R or Rapala Skitter Pop? I dont see why it couldnt work if you could keep the bait moving. Any reason they are not popular for muskies?

Windells Chugger, its no longer made but works great. its a walk the dog style with a loud "bloop" sound on every pull. caught a lot of fish on these and still throw them. american hardwood lures makes a version of this lure, picked one up at the swap a couple years ago. Bill
