Going to be buying one of these soon but not sure about the size or color. I'm between the 4 inch and the 6 inch model. But i'm wondering if the 4 inch size catches muskies as well as the 6 inch or is it more for smaller species like pike and bass? Also in terms of color choices what are your guys preferences and proven producers? I looked over the colors and i really like chartreuse perch, hot crappie, and Lac Seul perch. Any input would be appreciated.

Both are pike magnents, at least where I fish(keep in mind I have boated pike on much much larger baits then either of these). So to avoid getting more pike I would get the 6".

I've never had a reason to throw a 4" before. I hear they do well in spring time. But I choose to go with the 6" at minimum. I like the 7.5" ones the best. My favorite color of all of the phantoms is the Chart Perch. Phantom has tons of fish catching colors. The question is, which one catches you?

The 6 inch phantom's work great.
They are kind of like cats, though, in that you can never have just one, so be ready to buy a few!

I like the 6" better then the 7.5 as I feel it "dances" better....Haven't used the 4" model...Im sure it works but that is a little too small for my liking. The lure works better for me on a straight wire leader but I can get some of them to work fine on fluoro....There are some great color options but the Canadian Crush ( orange/black) is a personal favorite of mine and has accounted for countless fish in my boat, especially in Northern Wi.
