I just bought a new revo toro nacl 6.4.1. I spooled it up with 80lb cortland and was trying it out and noticed that the spool tension knob when fully tightend will not even keep lighter lures from falling. Anyone else have this problem?

Ask PIKEMASTER on his thread. I have 4, no issues. Wonderful reels.

I have 4 also and have had no issues. 2 are NaCl and 2 are regular revo toros. There's a small disc on the inside of the left sideplate the spool rides on, if nothing else try flipping that disc. Contacting pikemaster or abu are your best bet.

I also noticed when I do tighten the spool control all the way down it does add pressure when you try to reel it. Thanks for all the replies.

I tried a few different lures. Anything heavier than a regular top raider it won't hold when fully tightend. Is this just the nature of the reel? I know my calcutta 400b will tighten up more than that.

If the reel isn't backlashing, what's the problem?

I referred you to PIKEMASTER, take that advice, please.

PIKEMASTER knows reels, he should be able to help you get your questions answered.

There is no problem with the reel! That is just its nature.
